Since 2006 helping those who desperately need to turn their happening into a great gig, SoS (or, for the less intimate, The Sensacional Orchestra Sonora) is the best option for those who aim at a great party.
Over 150 happenings played in Brazil and abroad show that music is not a question of mathematics and formulas but an expression of feelings and, overall, truth.
Conceived by Eduardo a.k.a. Peixe Faiguenboim, crooner, guitarist and front man of the extinct band “The Idichemamas and The Papas” and Fabio Pinczowski, guitarist, keyboardist, producer and arranger of bands such as Seychelles, Mamma Cadela and Ludov (winner of MTV’s VMB for 2004’s best indie video clip), the SoS gathers today 10 steady musicians, DJs, as well as an experienced team that takes care of all of the band’s needs, which include sound, light and stage.
To apply the concept called by the band as “party without ceremonies”, its musicians were chosen not only for their experience along with renowned artists but for their creative capacity, which allows the band to be versatile enough to make each of its performances unique.
It’s music collection, which counts today with over 200 songs, was conceived to please the young, no matter their age and embodies rereadings of classics and versions of songs that have been shaking the dance floors since the sixties. It is the greatest proof of the band’s personality. Among the songs, a lot of rock & roll, Brazilian and international pop, funk, soul, reggae, Latin, samba, sambarock, etc. All of those songs that nobody stands anymore to hear, fortunately, are not welcome here.
Since 2007 SoS and Adidas became partners and just like Adidas’ Originals clothing, SoS brings to the antique some kind of modernness.
