Here you will find a description of the ensembles we offer, as well as technical information (technical rider and stage map) related to each of our ensemble combinations.

We may either provide sound and lighting equipment for your event or partner with a third-party company that you chose to hire (subject to our approval). Whatever your choice may be, our bands always feature a technical support team comprised of a sound engineer, a producer and at least one stage assistant (roadie).

Our bands are qualified to perform at events of different sizes and formats. To better accommodate the needs of each of our clients, we offer different possibilities regarding:

Ensemble Combinations:

Our three bands – SOS, SOS2 and SOS3 – feature: a male lead singer, a female lead singer, drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, percussion, saxophone, trumpet and trombone.

Additionally, we may also play as a septet or octet. Our 7-piece band usually features a male lead singer, a female lead singer, drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and a horn. The Eighth piece could either be another singer, horn or percussion.

Rider and DJ

The rider is a set of sound and lighting equipment required for a concert to be performed.

The Sensacional Orchestra Sonora may supply all the necessary equipment for our concerts to be performed. We also feature a group of DJs who work as our partners.

When hiring one of your bands, you can let us take care of everything.

However, you also have the option of hiring the rider and DJ with a different company. In that case, we provide a list of our requirements and we make sure that the hired equipment is in accordance with our needs.

Whether or not you chose to hire the rider with us, we always bring our own sound engineer to make sure that the sound meets our quality standards.

Ceremonies

The Sensacional Orchestra Sonora is qualified to perform at all types of ceremonies, whether classical or modern, featuring classical or pop music. In addition to the musicians in our bands, we rely on a team of arrangers, as well as classically-trained musicians.

Just like our performances on stage, our performances at ceremonies are marked by our distinct personality. We are able to skillfully blend popular and classical instruments and to effortlessly navigate through out-of-the-box ideas and song choices. Contact us about different ensemble combinations.

Outfits

Our outfits were designed to show off one of our most striking features: our naturalness.

In addition to our traditional Adidas outfits, which have become one of our trademarks, we can also perform in other clothes to better suit different types of events, whether they be more casual or formal.

Since 2014, a partnership with Black Tie, Sao Paulo’s most important gala wear rental store, has enabled us to wear tuxedos in our own luxurious trendy way.
